This beautiful rural yoga retreat has a fully equipped studio for Iyengar Yoga, accommodates 14 in 5 shared rooms and provides full vegan or vegetarian board as well as guided walks in the lovely surroundings. There is also a cottage 7 minutes’ drive away if more space is required.
Let Judith know if you definitely want to go and are whether you are willing to share. The total cost of the 6 days will be £780 (890 Euros) with a surcharge of £180 (210 euro) for single occupancy. A deposit of £80 (90 euro) will secure your place.

’Yoga for Every Body’ – working with common ailments. Bring your aches and pains, injuries and ailments and learn how to use yoga to facilitate healing!
May 17th, June 14th, July 12th.
’Yoga for Every Body’ – general workshop. Graduated workshops for every ability, showing how the actions of simple poses form the bases of the more complex.

Teacher training
Training to teach Iyengar yoga is through a mentoring scheme. If you have been practising for at least three years and you and your regular teacher think you are ready, you can find a teacher to be your mentor and then register with IY(UK) ( www.iyengaryoga.org.uk ) as a trainee.
Your mentor can be your regular teacher or your teacher can help you find a suitable teacher to mentor you in addition to themselves. Training takes place over a minimum of three years and includes the philosophy underpinning yoga, and anatomy, as well as teaching skills. When you and your mentor(s) think you are ready, you will have a formal assessment to qualify you to teach.
